Our Successes - CSI

Umzinto Secondary School

From humble beginnings Mrs Malani Padayachee-Saman our CEO started structuring her future at Umzinto Secondary School as a student. Years later MPA invest back into this community through developing possible future engineers and business people by donating laboratory equipment, annually awarding excellence awards for Mathematics and Science and contributing towards school fees for Grade 10 to Grade 12 learners.

Maroba High School

In an initiative to ensure that champions are responsible within MPA to ensure that our CSI spend impacts the wider community, we encourage employees to identify beneficiaries. One of our young Technologists, Mr Ezekiel Tlomatsana grew up in a rural area in Polokwane and championed the initiative of the upgrading of ablution facilities and refurbishing of the library facility as well as donation of books and reference material to Maroba High School.

In addition, Ezekiel further promotes Engineering Studies to learners studying Mathematics and Physical Science through presentations at his alma mater. Just another way MPA structures the future.

Jungle Gyms and Outreach Projects

MPA acknowledges the impact that physical stimulation has on early childhood development. An initiative was identified to supply Jungle Gyms to various primary schools in disadvantaged areas in and around Gauteng.

In addition, their recognition of hygienic facilities and the part that this plays in the daily lives of learners prompted, MPA to be involved in the Thusanani Project which was an outreach initiative to Nthabalala Primary School. This was for the design and construction supervision of ablution facilities for the learners and the staff.
